LONG TRIP IN BARROW
AUCKLAND TO WELLINGTON [BY TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION"] WELLINGTON, Snturday The long-distance road cyclist L. G. Lukey is to push J. C. Schofield from Auckland to Wellington in a wheelbarrow. The pair will leave on August 5 and a month will bo allowed for the journey, which will bo via New Plymouth. The barrow is being fitted with a pneumatic tyro and ball bearings. The fittings will include a seat and back rest, foot rests, a dashboard with clock, and a small born. The trip will not be for a wager, but will be in the nature of a holiday. The men's weights are: Schofield 13st. 101b.; Lukey, 12st. 61b.
