Patersan, at the inquest to-day into the death of Frederick Alexander Pearson, aged 63, a Hamilton land agent, "who was found dead at Raakxtra on July 2 •with a gunshot wound in his neck. Martin, farmer, of MarrinßviHe, said that he found the body caught in a wire feniae near the Buakora.railway station. Sergeant Thomas KeDy expressed the opinion that deceased drew the gun behind him when struggling through the fence, and that /, lie rawed the hammer accidentally with his foot. The hammer then slipped and discharged the gun.
