DR. W. RUSSELL MALTBY j ARRIVAL IN AUCKLAND TO-DAY A noted leader of the Methodist ~ Church in England, Dr. W. Russell 1 Maltby, will pass through Auckland as a passenger on the Aorangi, which is ' due here from Sydney to-day. X)r. | Maltby is returning to England after representing his Church at the celebrations of the centenary of the Victorian Methodist Church in May. Dr. Maltby is an ex-president of the British Metho- - ; j dist Conference, and is in great demand as a speaker, - especially to student | audiences. | This afternoon Dr. MaJtby will ■ address a gathering of ministers of aS : the churches, and this evening he will speak at a public meeting in the Pitt | Street Methodist Church.
