BREACH OF REGULATION'S [|)Y TKI.F.GHAI'IT —OWN CORRESPONDENT] HUNTLY, Friday Two miners, James Peden and Andrew Tait, employed at Glen Afton Collieries, were each charged before Mr. S. L. Patterson, S.M., yesterday, on information laid by Mr. William Barclay, inspector of mines, that on Juno 21 they failed to support the roofs of their working places at the mine with props at the regular intervals required by the timbering regulations specified for that mine. Defendants, who did not appear, were each convicted and fined £l, and costs 12s.
