AUCKLAND SOCIETY'S WORK
Receipts totalling £lslß and expenditure amounting to £1515, tearing a small favourable balance, were shown in the financial statement, of the Auckland Discharged Prisoners.' Aid Society, covering a period of 18 month,-*, presented at a recent meeting of the executive of the society by the Rev. G- K. Moreton, treasurer. Archbishop Averill presided. The low cost of administration was the subject of favourable comment by members. Among the expenditure items were groceries supplied.. meals and beds. £%; coal and light. £107; and fares paid to petitions, £l4l.
