DISPUTE ON WATER POLO an apology requested The censure imposed recently by the Auckland Swimming Centre on one of its members, Mr. Hi Moore, provided a sequel at the centre's meeting last evening, when a resolution was carried asking Mi*. Moore to apologise in writing before-the next general meeting to Dr. T.-H. F'ettit ancjg, Mr. L. Brighton, the two water polo referees whom he had precluded, without authority, from controlling matches at the New Zealand tournament in February. The matter, was reopened by letters from the Ponsonby and Waitemata Clubs. Supporting Mr.- Brighton,, the.former club stated that, 'in its opinion, the circumstances demanded an apology from Mr. Moore, and it suggested that he be suspended until he gave a written apology to I)r, P«tM and Mr. Brighton.
