ILLEGAL TACKLING PLAYERS LIABLE TO INJURY STRICTER CONTROL NECESSARY The question of late tackling in Benior matches and the possibility of such tactics causing serious injury to players was mentioned by Mr. G. It was decided to bring the matter before the notice of the City Council. The Northland League wrote thanking the Newton Club for participating in the recent opening of Jubilee Park at Whangarei.
