LOAN FOR GLASGOW
ISSUE AT 3 PER CENT BANK'S TERMS DECLINED (Received June 25. G. 55 p.m.) / LONDON. June 25 The Glasgow Corporation, on which Labour lias a majority, declined to accept the terms suggested by the Bank of England for the conversion of £2,500.000 of 5] per cent stock, and decided to raise the money by means of a 3 per cent mortgage loan. It is announced that the loan has been fully subscribed.
