POSITION OF CHINA
BRITISH INVESTIGATOR OTHER * POWERS INFORMED (Received June 25. 6.5 p.m.) British Wireless RUGBY. June 24 The Foreign Secretary, Sir Samuel Hoare, was asked in the House of Commons to-day whether any other Powers we're sending financial experts to China to advise their respective Governments on the situation there. The Minister said that as soon as the Chinese Government had been informed of the appointment of Sir Frederick Leith-Ross, the British Government communicated with the United States, French. Japanese and Italian Governments, and expressed a hope that they would take similar action. He had not received any intimation yet of their intentions.
