PRESENTATION
On the evo of his departure for Dannevirko Mr. J. G. Britland, one of the masters of the Whangarei High School, was farewelled by Rugby footballers m Whangarei. Mr. C. F. Collins presided over a large attendance. Since going to Whangarei 10 years ago, Mr. Britland had been closely associated with liugby football, having been a senior representative player, selector of the senior teams, coach, and at present was member of the management committees of the Whangarei and North Auckland Unions. On behalf of the two unions Mr. A. Steele presented Mr. Britland with a gold wristlet watch, and a crystal vase for Mrs. Britland. A presentation from the Old Boys' Club of a case of pipes wry? made by Mr. Collins.
