FAREWELL GATHERING
[from our own correspondent]
TE AROEA, Friday
A large gathering of mothers met in the Methodist Hall yesterday to bid farewell to Nurse Davies, who for the past six years has acted as district Plunket nurse and is now on transfer to Oamaru.
Several speakers paid high tribute to the splendid work of Nurse Davies during her tenure here, and she was presented with a monogramrned travelling rug and a pair of motoring gauntlets.
