FISHERMEN FINED
TAUPO PROSECUTIONS RANGERS AND LICENCES [by telegraph—OWN correspondent] TAUPO, Friday A number of fishing prosecutions were heard in ths Taupo Magistrate's Court to-day before Mr. J. Miller. S.M. Lan McKinnon, charged with failinc. on March 11, to produce his troutfishing licence on the demand of a ranger, was convicted and fined £2 and costs. On a charge of fishing for trout without being the holder of a licence, Richard Stevens was convicted and fined £4 and 24s costs. James liislop was convicted and fined £4 and costs for obstructing a ranger in the execution of his duty.
