SOCIAL AFTERNOON
A social afternoon was held yesterday at the home of Mrs. C. Robinson, of Park Avenue, Takapuna, under the auspices of the St. George's Women's Society of the'Takapuna Presbyterian Church. Items were contributed by Mrs. L. Buchanan and. Mrs. Henderson, who gave a pianoforte duet, Mrs. A. W. Sim, who sung and Mrs. C. Robinson, who played a pianoforte solo. A competition was won by Mrs. SimiUfield. Among those present were:—Mrs. P. Johnston, Mrs. T. Hanna. Mrs. Robertson, Mrs. F.' Vaile, Mrs. .1. Buchanan, Mrs. J. E. Baldwin, Mrs. J. Hamilton, Mrs. Cooper, Mrs. G. Howie, Mrs. H, Moore. Mrs. C. Ewing, Mrs. Douglas, Mrs. R. L. Walker, Mrs. Dunn, Mrs. Downard, Miss Mclntyre and Miss M. Rushbrook.
