WRESTLING IN SOUTH
KRUSKAMP BEATS PEREIRA [BY TELEGRAPH PRESS ASSOCIATION] TIMARU, Thursday In a fairly spectacular and interesting wrestling contest last night, Kruskamp beat Pereira by two falls to one. In the second round Kruskamp, after flying tackles and flying mares, pinned Pereira with a body press. Pereira equalised in the fourth round by dumping his opponent. In the next round Kruskamp was picked up in an aeroplane spin, but he cleverly applied a head scissors in the air for a winning fall.
