CONTROL OF EXPORTS
DAIRY AND MEAT BOARDS [BY TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION] WELLINGTON, Saturday The Minister of Agriculture, Hon. C. E. Macmillan, has replied to the Dominion executive of the Farmers' Union stating that the suggestion that one of the Government nominees on the Dairy Board should be a Meat Board representative has teen given further consideration.
It appeared, the Minister says, that the arrangement made by the legislhtion passed last session would go far to bring about co-ordination between the boards, and he suggested that the matter should be left over in the meantime.
The Minister added that he intended to go into the general question with the Executive Commission of Agriculture later, when the position in regard to exports and primary produce became clearer.
