AUCKLAND INQUESTS
FOUR RECENT DEATHS Three inquests were opened by Mr. Wyvern Wilson, S.M., coroner, on Saturday, and all were adjourned aft»-r evidence ot identification had boon taken. The inquests wore into the deaths of Miss Mario Ksther Smith, aged 19, of Church Street West, Onehitnga, who died at the Auckland Hospital last Thursday; Sir. Francis William Mailman, aged 48, of 404 Sandringham Road, who died on Friday niuht following a collision between two bicycles in Eden Terrace; and Mr. Arthur Windsor, aged 22, of Pupuko Road, Takapuna, who was kicked by a horse on the farm of Mr. W. J. McI'etridge, Sminybrook Road, Northcote, and whose death occurred on Friday night. An inquest also was opened on Saturday by Mr. F. H. Levien, S.M., coroner, into the deatli of Miss Kathleen Irene White, aged 25, of 214 Green Lane Road, Epsom, who collapsed while at work at the Westfield Frcezing Company's factory on Friday afternoon and died some hours later. The inquest was adjourned after evidence of identification had been taken.
