TAKAPUNA TENNIS CLUB

ANNUAL PRIZE-GIVING A dance was given by the members of the Takapuna Tennis Club on Saturday evening. Tho president's wife, Mrs. J. AV. Williamson, who wore a frock of black crepe marocain, presented the trophies which were won during the season. The prize-winners were:—Mrs. F. Thomas, Mrs. E. Sullivan, Miss D. Randall, Miss E. Corner, Miss W. Alnutt, Miss E. Wann, Miss M. Bartrum, Mr. H. Benctt, Mr. T. Roberts, Mr. E. Ever ton, Mr. N. Coleman, Mr. E. Clieal, Mr. R. Evans, Master Kissen. Supper was served, the tables having been attractively decorated with ideland poppies and spring flowers. The committee comprised Mrs. E. Everiss (honorary secretary), who wore a frock of turquoise blue taffeta; Mrs. F. E. Sutherland, black chantilly lace; Mrs. E. Sullivan, black souple satin and silver lame; Miss K. Spriggs, cameo pink angel skin; Miss E. Corner, pink tartan taffeta; Miss 15. Harden, lime green crepc; Miss B. Randall, ivory satin beaute. Among those present were Mrs. C. Arthur, who wore vieux rose crepc; Mrs. T. Rollo, pillar-box red crepe de Chine; Mrs. C. Randall, peach georgette; Mrs. A. Buxton, peacock blue crepe; Mrs. J. Hopkins, nile green georgette; Mrs. J. Thompson, black crepe de chine; Miss G. Orme, jubilee blue satin beaute; Miss E. Franklin, silver lame; 'Miss D. Alalion, floral organdie; Miss Z. Gould, pink souple satin and silver lame; Miss G. Sevi, blue floral organdie; Miss L. Goddard, marina blue crepe; Miss E. Arthur, powder blue taffeta; Miss Webber, pink floral taffeta; Miss Jean Grey, green spotted net; Miss M. Rollo, pink and white floral taffeta; Miss D. Easdown, powder blue georgette; Miss D. Kissen, black and white velvet; Miss P. Matthews, ivory flat crepe; Miss L.
