CANDIDATE FOR CLUTHA [nY TELEGRAPH—PRESS ASSOCIATION] DUNEDIN, Sunday A well-known farmer of the Clinton district, Mr. J A Roy, has been selected as the Government candidate to contest the Clutha seat. The present Government member for Clutha, Mr. P. McSkimining, recently announced his intention to retire. Tho Rev. E. T. Cox, Mayor of Dunediu, has been selected as the Labour candidate.
