PANMURE SCHOOL
GRANT FOR NEW BUILDING Telegraphic advice that a grant has been approved by the Cabinet for the erection of a new school at Paninure, lias been received from the Minister of Education, Hon. S. G. Smith by Mr. W. J. Jordan, M.P. for Manukau. The present school is some 65 years old and is too small for the requirements of tho district. Its replacement has been urged for a considerable time. The present site also has proved Tinsuitable, the playgrounds being very confined, and a new site was acquired some years ago on tho Mount Wellington highway a short distance away.
