Ngaruawahia.—Tho monthly meeting was held in the Oddfellows' Hall, Mrs. Hughes, tho newly-elected president, presiding, A very .interesting travel talk was given by Miss Carbines. The roll call was What I should liko on future programmes. The competition, something made from waste material, was well contested. Mesdames ITarrop and McCurdy' tied for first place. Te Kowhai.—Mrs. Seal, the newlyappointed president, welcomed two new members at a recent meeting. Mrs. Coston. secretary, was appointed delegate to the Dominion conference. A report of tho Waikato Federation Council meeting was given by Mrs. Seal (delegate). Miss Snell, link secretary, and Mrs. Harris, press correspondent, were re-appointed. A display of articles for exhibition at tho Winter Show court was held, and members appointed to take charge. Tho roll call was My Favourite Recreation, which revealed a diversity of tastes in pastimes.
