STRUCK BY TRAMCAR

ACCIDENT IN QUEEN STREET MAN SERIOUSLY INJURED While crossing Queen Street at the corner of Darby Street about eight o'clock last night, Mr. John Anderson, aged 71, of 61 Victoria Street West, was struck by atramcar. He suffered severe head injuries and an injury to the shoulder.

Mr. Anderson was taken to the Auckland Hospital in a St. John ambulance. His condition was reported to be serious.
