BODY FOUND IN RIVER
MARRIED WOMAN'S FATE ["by telegraph OWN correspondent] THAMES, Thursday The body of Mrs. Kato Uadich, aged 34, wife of Mr. Jack Kadich, of Kerepeelii, was found in the Piako River, about a mile below the wharf, yesterday afternoon. Mrs. Kadich had last been seen alive at nine o'clock on Tuesday night. At an inquest held this afternoon it was stated that deceased's husband found a note written by his wife and indicating her intention of taking her life. He informed the police and Constable Clifford found ■ another similar note on the river wharf. A verdict was returned of suicide by drowning while of unsound mind.
