CHURCH ANNIVERSARY
Various functions to celebrate the 38th anniversary of the Dominion Iload Methodist Church have been held during the week. These included special services with an augmented choir and addressed by Dr. 0. H. Laws and the Rev. R. B. Tinsloy. A united meeting of the Methodist Men's Fellowship was addressed by Mr. Kenneth H. Melvin and the Fellowship Octette gave vocal it-ems. The Rev. R. B. Tinsley presided at a reunion social of past and present members of the church held in the Centenary Hall, when a musical programme was given by the Kingsland Church choir under the leadership of Mr. H. F. Garland. Songs by Miss Maida Davidson and Mr. Rutledge, pianoforte solos by Miss Braithwaite and elocutionary items by Miss Nelly Weston completed an enjoyable evening.
