HEADMASTER'S RESIGNATION
Sir, —Your report of the resignation of the headmaster of King's College, and the subsequent comment upon it, have Jed people to think that there is something gravely wrong somewhere. Surely there can bo no question of a man's resignation being " subjudice." There is no question of judgment upon it. He may be asked to reconsider it, but in the end, unless it is withdrawn, it must be accepted.. This untimely comment only serves to associate His Grace, quite unjustly, I am sure, with the suggestion that is being freely made that Mr. Archdall is the victim of animus on the part of some members of the board. It is only fair to the public that somo official statement should be issued to counteract these rumours which are affecting the credit not only of members of the board, but the credit of the Church in Auckland. Fiat Justitia.
