ORPHANS' CLUB
BIRKENHEAD AND NORTHCOTE The annual meeting of the Birkenhead and Northcote Orphans' Club was held last night. Mr. R- G. Holland presided. The report stated that the membership had been well maintained and that the financial position was satisfactory. The following officers were elected:— President, Mr. G. B. Chinnery; vicepresidents, Dr. K. H. Holdgate, Messrs. F. G. Blackwell, R. 0. White and J. Williamson; secretary, Mr. J. W. Hollows; treasurer, Mr. J. Williamson; committee, Messrs. B. L. Brown, L. 0. Tarbutt, E. J. Sinel, J. Barr and D. M. Lawson; auditor, Mr. J. W. Lethbridge; chief steward, Mr. R. 0. White.
