DOINGS OF AUCKLANDERS [from: ottr own correspondent] By Air Mail LONDON, April 27 The Rev. R. H. Hobday, Mrs. Hobday and their daughter, Edith (Auckland), stayed a fortnight in Ceylon with Mr. Wilfrid E. Hobday, Controller of Labour in the Ceylon Civil Service., They left behind their son, Mr. Stephen Hobday, as a cadet on a tea plantation at Cannavarella. At present they are staying with Mr. S. Reginald Hobday at. Putney. Mr. and Mrs Keith Buchanan (Takapuna) have bought a motor-car and have already toured a great deal of England. Mrs. Buchanan is taking a great interest in the music of the country, while Mr. Buchanan is following his own hobbies and visiting the leading hunt club point-to-point meetings. At present they are staying in Wales, but will be in London for the jubilee, after which they hope to tour Scotland. Mr. E. V. Morrish (Whangarei) is joining his brother, Flying-Officer D. W. Morrish, R.A.F., in Paris next month, when he concludes a tour of Europe. Later both will tour the British Isles and return together to New Zealand.
