T H IE! FIRST SITTINGS STATEMENT BY MINISTER The Court ot Review, set up under the Rural Mortgagors Final Adjustment Act, and consisting of Mr. Justice .Johnston' and Messrs. R. S. Chadwick and A. Coleman, is to come into operation immediately. Messrs. Chadwick and Coleman are to proceed to Christchurch, where they will be • sworn in by Mr. Justice Johnston, and as soon as Mr Justice Johnston has concluded his Supreme Court engagements at Christchuroh the Court will be ready to function. It is not anticipated, however, that the Court will commence work until next week at the earliest. The Minister of Justice, the Hon. J. G. Cobbe, stated in Wellington that 110 definite decision had been come to as to where the Court would first sit. There was much work ahead of the Court, he said, particularly in the farminjr centres, nrid it was more than likely that early sittings would be held at Wanganui, Palmerston North, and Wellington, where work was accumulat- " The actual headquarters would bo at Wellington, said Mr. Cobbe, but tho Court, of course, would be an itinerant one. Where convenient, sittings would be held in the Supreme Court, and in centres where there was no Supremo Court building other suitable accommodation would bo arranged.
