NEW YORK, Mcy 1 Between 100,000 and 150,000 Radicals demonstrated in New York today in traditional fashion to celc brate May Day. Because of continued inability to form a united front the Communists and Socialists held (separate parades through the business section of the city. The Communists carried lied banners denouncing wax, Fascism, and other "manifestations of capitalism," Thousands of policemen guarded the line of march, but there was :no disorder or violence, in fact mosit of the demonstrators displayed a carnival spirit rather than a revolutionary one. Smaller demonstrations were held in the principal cities throughout the country, also in Mex.iio City and most of the capitals of South America. There was little or no violence.
