Three public institutions will benefit under the will of the late Mr. William Henry Burroughs, a retired farmer, of Onehunga. Probane of the will has been granted to the Guardian Trust and Executors Company of New Zealand! Limited.
The •will provides for the following legacies, amounting to about £3000:The New Zealand Blind Institute, about £1600; the Whangarei Public Hospital, £IOOO, for investment, the income each year to be used for general purposes or for any particular work associated with the hospital; the Kamo Town Board, £4OO, ihi: investment, the income to be applied to the purchase of books for the Ka.niO Library,
The gift to the Blind Institute represents t.h'3 residue' of the estate;.
