TWO MEMBERS RESIGN v THE WELLINGTON DISTRICT [BY TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION] WELLINGTON, Thursday Two of the three membeis of the Wellington District Mortgagors' Relief Commission, Mr. Hugh Mclntyre, chairman, and Mr. Albert McDonald, have resigned. The Minister of Justice, Han. J. G. Cobbe, stated to-day that ho had received the resignations of the two members and had telegraphed each gentleman asking to be supplied with reasons for the step taken. REASONS FOR DECIHXOIST BRIEF COMMENT MADE [bt TELEGRAPH —OWN correspondent] FEILDING, Thursday Questioned to-day regarding the resignation of himself and Mr. A. Mc-" Donald from the Wellington Mortgagors' Relief Commission, Mr. H. Mclntyre said he did not wish to go into any of the reasons leading up to their decision, but the plain fact was that neither Mr. McDonald nor himself had been able to see eye to eyo with tho authorities in certain matters. They had accordingly resigned. Mr. Mclntyre further declined to say whether negotiations were being conducted between themselves and the Minister in the direction of an amicable adjustment of the diiferences of opinion.
