FIRE IN STORE SHED

Damage estimated at about £SO was done to a detached sfcoreshed at 47 Main Highway, Ellerslie, owned by Sir. W. G. Piggott, when it was gutted by fire shortly before midnight on Wednesday. Most of tho contents were destroyed. Neither the building nor the contents were insured. The building was a single storey structure of two rooms, constructed of wood and iron. The fire had a good hold when the Great South Road and Remuera brigades arrived after receiving a call from a street alarm.
