BALL AT DEVONPORT

NORTH AUCKLAND REGIMENT

MANY DANCERS ATTEND

The. annual ball of the North Auckland Regiment was held last evening at the naval training hall at s the dock in Devonport, which had been lent for tlio occasion. Largo Hags divided the hall for dancing, one end being vised as a reception entrance. The orchestral dais, which was also decorated witn flags, was placed at the end 01. the dance floor. On arrival the dancers were received by Colonel C. S. White and Mrs. White, the latter wearing a frock of white pebble crepe with pink shoulder flower under a white fur coat. .The ball committee comprised: Captain R. Downey (chairman), Lieutenant T. V. JJitzpatrick (secretary). Lieutenant A. Robertson (treasurer), Colonel C. S. White, Lieutenant A. Copeland, Lieutenant Schramm, Mrs. C. S. \\ bite, Mrs. W. Bloomfield, Mrs. J. L. Isettleton, Mrs. W.
