REPORTS OF MANAGERS Mataki (Murchison). —Lust -week the dredge pulled ahead 48ft., . on a face of 400 ft., with an average do pith of 18ft. On Anzac Day the dredge was closed down for 24 hours.. One shift was spent on Friday cleaning up the river cut. This part of the cut is showing signs of an improvement, a beach on the west side carrying fair gold. The bottom right across the face is very uneven, varying in depth from 6ft. to 22ft*., the bank portion beiiig poor and drifty.
