YESTERDAY'S SALES RETURN ON INVESTMENTS Following is a list of yesterday's transactions on New Zealand Stock Exchanges and the return from investment at the quoted price. The exchange premium on dividends payable in sterling is included in tho calculation of returns. Tho yield on 4 per cent Government loans includes redemption and that on 3£ per ctint loans is for intercut alone, and covers only the period for which the loans are tax-free. AUCKLAND EXCHANGE
THE! MINING MARKET WAIHIS FIRM AND ACTIVE SELLING UP TO 42s 9d
There was a firm and active tone in th«s market for Waihi mining shares on the Auckland Stock Exchange yesterday. Selling opened 6d higher at 425,-and passed to 42s 3d and later to 42s 9d on a total of five transactions. Offers closed at 42s 6d, a_ rise of Is, and quotations were 8d higher at 42s lid. Mahakipawas and Skippers were secured at cheaper prices.
