FOUND DEAD
MAN'S SKELETON IN WALES POSSIBLY AN AUSTRALIAN LONDON, March 13 A skelton, fully clothed, was found on a mountain near Brynygroes, -in Merionethshire. It is believed to be that of an Australian named Kendal or Kendell, who is said to have accompanied the cricket team to England. At the inquest a verdict of " found dead " was returned. There was bo suspicion of foul play. In addition to £29 in notes in a pocket, there were nine £1 notes torn up in a wallet, also a gold watch. There were no other clues to deceased's identity. Kendell was aged about 50, short and stout, had black hair, and was clean shaven. He took rooms at Barmouth in September, saying he was a Quaker an d had lived in Westmorland and in New Zealand. He left Barmouth on November 9, leaving two days extra rent, with the remark that he wished to settle lest anything should happen to him.
