CRIPPLED CHILDREN

THANKSGIVING DONATION FOOTBALL CLUB'S ACTION A decision to contribute to the national fund for crippled children a sum of £5 5s as a thank offering for their own physical well-being, was made at the annual meeting of the Grammar Schools Old Boys' Football Club. In moving that the donation be made the chairman, Mr. F. W. Gamble, headmaster of the Mount Albert Grammar School, said it was appropriate that such a gift should come from members of a sporting body, who were able to enjoy all the benefits of sound health, as a thanksgiving for these blessings.
