EXERCISE YOUR FEET

These movements are invaluable for strengthening the feet and for keeping them supple and young, and they can be done at home. I.—Place the thumbs on top of the foot, and the fingers underneath, and with a rotary movement massage the balls of the toes. 2.—Keep the hands in the same position, pull the foot forward as far as possible, stretching the arch to its fullest extent. Relax and repeat a dozen times. 3.—Reverse the previous exercise, and bend the foot downwards instead of up. v 4. —Take each toe between the fingers, and pull it out and up, stretching it as you do so. This is a wonderful exercise for hammer-toes, 'as it stretches the tendons and makes the toes supple. 5.—-Take the foot netween the hands, and rotate it first to the right, then to the left, describing as wide a circle as possible.
