BRIEF VISIT TO DOMINION

"We have had a wonderful time during our short stay in New Zeahfnd and are all very sorry that we cannot stay longer in your interesting and beautiful country," said Mr. F. C. Henderson, leader of tho American delegation of 10 Scouts, who arrived in Auckland fey train yesterday afternoon from Rotorua. Mr. Henderson is educational director of the Seattle Area Council, which controls the Scout movement in that country. The Scouts have been attending the recent jamboree in Melbourne. They arrived in Wellington from Sydney on Monday and visited Waitomo Carps and Botorua on the trip to Auckland. "The boys were delighted with the marvellous caves and with the thermal attractions," said Mr. Henderson. Several commissioners of tho Aifckland Boy Scouts' Association mot tho visitors on their arrival from Rotorua. A few of tho boys were taken for a motor drive to tho summit of Mount Eden, while others were taken to tea in the city. The whole party attended the Civic Theatre last night as tho guests of the local association. Trips to points of interest around the city will be made this morning, and tho boys will leave later in tho day by tho Mariposa on their return to tho United States.
