AEROPLANE CONSTRUCTION NEW FACTORY IN BRlTAlN(Received January 10. 6.25 p.m.) LONDON. Jan. 10 It is understood that the well-known Dutch manufacturer of aeroplanes, Mr. A. Fokker, has concluded an arrangement with Air Speed, Limited, to build Fokker-Douglas machines in England.

The British United Press correspondent at St. Moritz' states that Mr. Fokker says the Air Speed works at Portsmouth will continue to be used for experimental purposes, but a new factory will be built at Newcastle-on-Tyne, and he will act as leading designer of new types and supervise their construction.

The company will build seaplanes, bombers and powerful mail and passenger aeroplanes.
