POSTAL RELATIONS

CHINA AND MANCH UKUO

LIFTING OF EMBARGO

(Received January 10, 11.45 p.m.) PEKING, Jan. 10

After having been suspended for two and a-half years, the postal relations between China proper and Manchukuo were resumed to-day. This was the result of a special arrangement between the Chinese postal authorities and Japanese army representatives.

The lifting of the embargo will permit of the despatch of mails from China to Europe via the Siberian route.
