WORK OF PARLIAMENT

RESUMING THE SESSION DATE NOT YET DECIDED MR. FORBES NON-COMMITTAL [nv TELEGRAPH —OWN CORRESPONDENT] WELLINGTON. Thursday "Is Parliament, to resume on February 13?" In reply to this question to-day, the Prime Minister stated that it was impossible at the moment to give a definite answer. "Everything depends on the completion of the legislative proposals which are to be submitted to Parliament when it resumes the adjourned session," he said. "These deal with important national questions such as mortgage finance. The proposed measures are under preparation for the House and until they have been completed it is not practicable to say when Parliament will continue its session.

"I have not said that the reopening of the session will be later than February 13," concluded Mr. Forbes. "The date has not been fixed —that is the position."
