ANNIVERSARY REGATTA
MANY EVENTS ARRANGED An abridged programme of the Auckland anniversary regatta to be held on Tuesday, January 29, has been announced. The first race, a contest for naval whalers, will start at 10 a.m., while the last race, for outboards and speedboats, will commence at 4.45 p.m. One of the most attractive events from the spectators' point of view, the start of the race for first-class keel yachts, will be at 11 o'clock. The programme caters for every type of power and sailing craft. Favoured with suitable weather, the regatta should be most successful. Entries for all events close next Tucsdav.
