NEW DRAMATIC COMPANY

For the first time for several years a dramatic company will appear oil the Auckland stage when J. C. Williamson's New Dramatic Compan.y will present the absorbing mystery drama "Ten Minute Alibi" at His Majesty's Theatre on Saturday, January 19. "Those who have regarded tbe late Kdgar Wallace as writing the last word in stage 'thrillers' will experience a shock of surprise when they see this play by Anthony Armstrong." wrote an Australian critic. "His situations are more complex: his characters subjective ratber than objective, and tbe ease of Philip Sevilla who is murdered in his Bloomsburv flat is sufficiently involved to demand the maximum of concentration. There is also a novelty about the play, for not only is tbe murder planned in a dream, but it is enacted before your eyes, while the entire third act. which proved an amazing pieco of stagecraft in binding , together tho threads of the story, is devoted to a police investigation at the scene of the crime."
