DAIRY PRODUCE BOARD
VACANCY NOT FILLED POSITION IN NO. 2 WARD [from our own correspondent] HAMILTON, Wednesday A statement that so far his company had received no notification from the Dairy Produce Board whether an election in No. 2 ward would be held shortly to fill the vacancy caused by the death of Mr. Dynes Fulton, was mado to-day by Mr. C. J. Parlane, general manager of the New Zealand Co-oper-ative Dairy Company, Limited. It was possible, he said, that the matter would be delayed until the board was newly constituted, in which case the dairy company would itself bo empowered to make an appointment. He understood nothing would be done until Cabinet met again. Referring to the vacancies on the directorates of companies subsidiary to the New Zealand Co-operative Dairy Company, Limited, caused by Mr. Fulton's death, Mr. Parlane stated that so far no appointments had been made.
