Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Bridger, James Street, Whakatane. announce the engagement of their elder daughter, Mary, to Leonard, son of Mr. and Mrs. Grose, Whakatane.
The engagement is announced between Terence Burrowcs, Royal Engineers, only son of Lieutenant-C'olonel Burrowes, Royal Artillery, and of Airs. Burrowes, of London, and Donicc, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. H. L. Friend, late of New Zealand.
