SPIRIT STOVE EXPLODES

Adamson, eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. T). Adamson, of Sandes Street, when a spirit stove he was using exploded. The aceident occurred in n tent in which Mr. Adamson was camping at Puru. Mr. Adamson lit the stove and was sitting a short distance away from it when the explosion occurred. He was burned on the face, chest, arms and other parts of his body, and was admitted to the Thames Public Hospital. To-day he was reported to be progressing satisfactorily.
