LORRY CRANKED IN GEAR VEHICLE STARTS FORWARD [from our own correspondent] OPOTIKI, "Wednesday Solvere injuries to tho body were suffered by Frederick Mokomoko, aged 15, when ho was crushed between two lorries in the Borough Council's yards this afternoon. Mokomoko was cranking a lorry which had accidentally been left in gear. It suddenly started forward and crushed the boy against another stationary lorry. He was taken to the Opotiki Hospital, and his condition last night was reported to bo satisfactory.
