SECOND TEST MATCH (Received January 4, 10.45 p.m.) SYDNEY, Jan. 4 The second test match between English and Australian women cricketers was begun to-day on the Sydney cricket ground. Australia batted first and when stumps were drawn had made 147 runs for nine wickets (Miss K. Smith 47, Miss J, Brewer 34).

The weather was hot. There were about 4000 spectators.
