HANDICAP TOURNAMENT FINALS DECIDED YESTERDAY The 'Auckland Lawn Tennis Association's annual handicap tournament was concluded at the Stanley Street courts yesterday, with the exception of the men's doubles, and some interesting matches resulted. SOUTH ISLAND TOURNEY ANGUS WINS SINGLES [BY TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION'] TIMARU, Friday The South Island tennis championships were concluded to-day. In spite of rain o\-er-niglit the courts played well and the men's singles final provided good tennis, although the scores might indicate an easy win for Angas. Miss liudkin proved too strong for Miss Sullivan and won easily. Experience played a big part in Miss Rudkin's victory. Results:— Men's Singles Championship.—C. Angas (Cliristchurcli) beat W. Kenton (Timaru), 6—2, 6—2. Men's Doubles.—Final: C. Angas and W. Robertson (Timaru) beat D. Dyniond (Christchurch) and W. Ronton, 6—4, 6—2. Women's Singles.—Final: Miss D. Rudlcin (Christchurch) beat Miss N. Sullivan (Timaru), 6—o 6—3.
