GREAT STAGE ACTOR

APPEARANCE ON SCREEN

George M. Cohan, acclaimed as "America's first actor" by critics everywhere and acknowledged to be the nation's most prolific playwright, will return to the screen soon in Harold B. Franklin's Fox film "Gambling," adapted from Cohan's stage success of the same name.

Cohan is a veteran of more than 40 years on the American stage, but manages to keep abreast of the modern styles of play writing, as was evidenced two seasons ago in his "Pigeons and People," as well as the new school of dramatics, the followers of which he Btartled last season by his-memorable performance in the Theatre Guild's stage play, " Ah, Wilderness."
